VALOR STORY
OUR STORY
Valor Meat Snacks was founded by Christopher Prascus, a proud U.S. Air Force veteran and former weaponry systems specialist for F-16 fighter jets in the 421st Black Widows Fighter Squadron. You can see Christopher below, left hand side, third airman back. After his Air Force service, and inspired by family recipes passed down through generations, Christopher founded Valor Meat Snacks to craft premium meat snacks that deliver bold, time-tested flavors in every bite.

Christopher's grandfather, Edwin "Pops" Carlyle inspired Christopher from a young age. Grandpa Edwin served during WWII as a pilot, navigator, and bombardier. Edwin started in the Navy's V5 program and trained to be an aircraft carrier pilot before being transferred to the bombardier group.
Pictured below, you can see "Pops" in front of both a B-17 Flying Fortress and climbing into his P-51 Mustang. Edwin's love of beef jerky came from a long line of family recipes handed down from generation to generation. Christopher recalls as a boy sharing jerky with "Pops" and was inspired to continue the family tradition with Valor Meat Snacks.
